Contractor announced for $100 Million Flinders Street Station Upgrade

Premier Daniel Andrews and Minister for Public Transport Jacinta Allan announced details of the plan to revamp the aging Flinders Street Station yesterday.
The plan will fix the leaky roof, restore the crumbling facade, and re-paint the Victorian era building, first built in 1910.
Important improvements to the way customers use the station are also planned, with better customer information boards, better ticketing services and public ammenities all in line for upgrades.
An interactive project board has been erected at the station to inform customers about the project. The project is due for completion in 2018.
